In this midtown Toronto home, the bold decision was made to expose the structural elements to provide unique visual interest in every room, and honor the authentic beauty of the structure. These industrial elements were painted a soft white, and juxtaposed against refined elements such as wood wall panels, custom wood ceilings, custom lighting, and custom millwork to create a balance of industrial and refined elements. The overall palette is nature-inspired colours that are tactile, textural, and calming to the senses. The result is a space that is unique, authentic, and relaxing to be in.
