Innovative and conceptual design ,to create a contemporary weekend retreat within an old barn in Historic Town.The client a single,middle age woman,with interests in art,literature music,and cares social, philosophical and environmental issue . Past and present coexist in the project. The volume storing hay, reachable through a trap door, is located on the house's third floor.We preserved the original construction in which we insert two steel mezzanines for two sleeping areas two bathrooms inside a copper cylinders a copper-clad firewall containing the fireplace between two panoramic windows
