Employing a minimalistic approach,new spaces were sculpted out of the original structure and a light,monochromatic material palette was selected,inspired by minimalist Japanese aesthetics and Scandinavian practicality.Smooth curves and variations in texture then provide ‘variety within unity',together with a carefully crafted lighting strategy that accentuates a language of lines.Hidden behind sliding panels of rhythmic intervals,storage units,TV consoles and passageways are organized on the same plane,creating an elegant,transformable space free from clutter.
