The renovation and addition for Clark Law Firm binds a trapezoidal addition to a 1940s brick building for a dichotomy between new and old. The building is on the hillside of Archibald Yell Boulevard in Fayetteville, AR. The trapezoidal addition is a formal response to the winding nature of the adjacent boulevard which has imposed an angle to the site. The interior improvements to the existing building focus on natural light and visual connections while still maintaining audible privacy. The addition serves as an executive suite and gives a new face to the brick building.
