Bold geometric forms define the Tangram Hotel Fitness Center, an amenity shared by the residences as well as hotel at the Tangram multi-use development. Our approach animates using strong shapes: the salt room’s curved plan organically guides visitors to the breathing area, the pool’s fan-shaped ceiling provides complex folds for subtle cove lighting as well as acoustical treatments, and the gym spaces feature wood-toned ceiling slats to differentiate various spaces and help highlight the gym spaces’ dramatic views of the New York skyline.
