The Subterranean Guild transforms a forgotten basement into a contemporary cultural yet multifunctional space inspired by the Han dynasty’s pragmatic spirit. Neither a palace nor a temple, it celebrates craftsmanship, gathering, and commerce. Water, once a challenge, becomes the heart of the design, flowing as a symbol of vitality and continuity. The space is shaped by emotional design, where sensory experience, human connection, and cultural memory come together for exchange and reflection.
