Due to the 2020 closure of Planetario Alfa, exhibition pieces were relocated or donated to other institutions. Among them was “The Ancient Mexicans” collection, which will be moved to the Museum of the Northeast (MUNE). MUNE currently lacks a space designed for these pieces, so a museographic proposal will be developed as a thesis project. The collection is divided into cultural (Olmecs, Maya, Mexicas, etc.) and thematic (birth, death, education, technology, and Mesoamerica) categories.
