Once the global headquarters of CBS and the only skyscraper ever designed by Eero Saarinen, 51W52 in New York has been meticulously restored by Harbor Group International, Vocon, and MdeAS Architects. The $128M renovation transformed the landmark into a modern workplace, incorporating Saarinen’s original design palette—sable granite, statuary bronze, and travertine—while introducing contemporary wellness amenities and lobbies. The result is a workplace that honors mid-century modernism while serving today’s tenants, making it a global benchmark for office adaptive reuse.
