Founded in a Boston Back Bay townhouse, healthcare venture capital firm Third Rock Ventures wanted a new workplace in the life sciences eco-culture of the Fenway neighborhood but feared losing their inspiration “around the fireplace.” While contemporary, the new office is infused with TRV’s Back Bay spirit – pen-and-ink drawings from original construction documents and period millwork on walls, doors, and glass; velvet residential lobby furniture; herringbone floors; and an antique marble fireplace. The Patient Impact Wall celebrating TRV’s mission of patient health runs the office’s length.
