The UCD O'Connor Centre for Learning (0CCL) is a five-storey, 11,580 sqm academic building serving 3,200 students and staff. Unlike previous developments where teaching spaces were integrated within faculty buildings, the OCCL is a dedicated, faculty-independent facility accessible to the entire university community. Completed in January 2026 as part of Future Campus Phase 1, it provides a 250-seat lecture theatre and collaborative teaching spaces for 25-120 students, supporting active and blended pedagogy. The OCCL reinforces UCD's standing as Ireland's Global University.
