A surgical center can also be a place of light, calm, and humanity. The 8,000-square-foot expansion of the Westmount Square Surgical Center reimagines the clinical environment by placing well-being at the heart of the design. Natural light filters through large glass partitions and reaches deep into the plan, while fluid circulation and open views toward the city create a sense of ease. Wood, handcrafted plaster, indoor vegetation, and perforated terracotta brick introduce warmth and tactility, transforming the medical setting into a welcoming and dignified space for patients and staff.
