AFI Flex serviced office is located in a mixed-use complex, where the first three floors house a shopping gallery while the flexible office spaces are located on levels 4 to 6. The primary vertical connection between these levels is formed by a system of escalators — a relatively uncommon element in office environments. Rather than concealing this feature, we enclosed the escalators within perpendicular ellipses, forming a central welcoming space that set the tone for the rest of the design without compromising the aesthetics and functionality.
