Vela House reimagines an Edwardian dwelling through a sculptural extension defined by a sail-like ceiling that draws light deep into the plan. The sweeping plaster form captures clerestory light, creating dynamic yet tranquil environments. Curved joinery, monolithic stone elements and seamless junctions establish a consistent architectural language balancing richness with restraint. Full-height glazing connects living spaces to a north-facing garden and pool, positioning the 280sqm extension as the functional and social heart of the home.
