Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women in Nuevo León, yet many medical facilities in Mexico still lack spaces that provide emotional and social support during treatment. This absence of human-centered environments can increase feelings of isolation, anxiety, and emotional distress in patients. This project proposes the redesign of the specialized medical unit UNEME DEDICAM through interior design strategies based on neurointerior design and psycho-oncology.
