This project proposes the adaptive reuse of the Zambrano Apartments in Monterrey’s historic downtown to provide temporary lodging during the 2026 FIFA World Cup and later become permanent housing for local residents. The proposal seeks to revitalize the area while preserving the cultural value of the existing building. Using a qualitative methodology, the research gathers information through surveys, interviews, academic archives, and contextual analysis to identify user needs and understand the historical significance of the property.
