CBRE’s goal for their new workplace in downtown Boston was to create a collegial environment that breaks down internal business silos and fosters connections within and across markets/service lines. The design team at Elkus Manfredi Architects embraced the concepts of collaboration, community, and efficiency, creating a highly functional workplace flooded with natural light that fully supports employee choice. At its heart, the new workplace features a magnetic, two-floor gathering place with a variety of seating areas that can be used for solo work, collaboration, and socializing.
